I wish I was a computer geek... I had to return these items because I had been given the wrong information before I went to Office Depot.
John tried to help me, but these didn't have the Ethernet Port I thought I needed... So I had to return these... I had bought two of them.
The customer service was great, I was able to return these items with no problems... I had driven all the way home & back so it was nice not to get snagged in returning these items. I would recommend this store & their helpful sales people

This extender could not get a good connection with the router that was only 15 feet away. It is not powerful enough for most homes. Buy the WN3000RP by Netgear. It is much more powerful but costs twice as much but worth it.

Jury is still out on this product. I have been fiddling with it for a couple of days now, and getting into it to correct settings has been rather cumbersome. I have set my extended wireless device to talk with it and have not been successful with communications yet. I am going to call their tech support to see what they can offer for help.
